Planning future-proof telecommunications networks requires strategic foresight and a clear understanding of service demands. In this context, aspects such as energy efficiency, resource conservation, and high resilience against failures are increasingly becoming a central focus. Planning such infrastructures, with their complex challenges, necessitates the use of advanced tools. Efficient planning and optimization software -supported by intelligent algorithms and, increasingly, elements of Artificial Intelligence - will play a key role in this process.

With our 14^th NetWorks Forum, we aim to provide a platform for these topics. We are currently preparing our program for two exciting days featuring presentations on current network planning requirements and the applications of NetWorks.
